Elizabeth (Liz) ARTHUR

Date of Death: Friday 16th February 2024 Town: Donaghmore
Date of Death: Friday 16th February 2024

We, the family of the late Liz Arthur, would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with and supported us following the loss of our much-loved Mum, Nanny, Aunt, Sister, Sister-in-Law and friend.

To each and every one of the dedicated healthcare staff who cared so lovingly for Mum during her illness, we wish to say a heartfelt thank you.
Special thanks must go to Campbell’s Surgery in Dungannon, to Joanne and Hayley from the District Nursing Team, and to the Macmillan Nurses, who all helped provide comfort and support to Mum and to us as a family.
A word of thanks also to Torrent Pharmacy for all their care and attention to Mum over the years.
We wish to express our gratitude to Fr Gerard McAleer for his kindness and spiritual support, and to Dean Kevin Donaghy for his beautiful words during Mum’s Requiem Mass.

It is also important for us to say thank you to Kate McAleer, funeral director, for her dignified, caring and professional manner at such a difficult time.
To Andrea Begley for the wonderful music and singing during Mass, and to the gravediggers who prepared Mum’s final resting place with care and consideration, we also say thank you.
Mum was truly blessed with great neighbours and friends throughout her life, and we want to especially thank all those who visited her before and during her illness, and those who helped in any way during the wake.
Thank you to the many friends, family and colleagues who called to the family home, sent Mass cards or messages of sympathy, and brought food and flowers. Your kindness at such a difficult time will never be forgotten.

Since it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a genuine and sincere expression of our gratitude and appreciation.

Mum’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 16 March at 6pm in St Patrick’s Church, Donaghmore.

With heartfelt thanks, Nigel, Diane, Lorraine and Keith.
