Acknowledgement for the late Francie Farrell:
Frances and Family of the late Francie Farrell wish to thank most sincerely all those who supported us during our recent bereavement. We would like to extend our appreciation to our family circle, and friends for their visits to Francie during his time spent in Carlingford Lodge Care Home.
Special thanks to those who attended the Funeral Home, Removal to the Church, Funeral Mass, sent messages of condolences, Mass Cards, and kept us in your thoughts and prayers, we appreciate your kindness. We would also like to thank you for your generous donations to Alzheimer’s Society UK.
We extend our thanks to the Carers and Nursing Staff at Carlingford Lodge Care Home for their kindness, support and care of Francie during his time spent there. We thank also the Doctors and Staff of Summerhill Surgery, Warrenpoint.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to Canon Kearney, Fr. Bernard and Fr. Joseph Ralph for attending the Nursing Home to bless Francie during his last days.
Thank you to Fr. Desmond Mooney for his guidance and celebration of Francie’s Funeral Mass along with the concelebrants Fr. Bernard and Fr. Joseph Ralph.
To Dermot McQuaid and Shane Morgan for the beautiful singing and Music at the Mass.
Our heartfelt appreciation to St. Bronagh’s GAA for the Guard of Honour outside the Church both before and after the Funeral Mass. Also, for the minutes silence at Petit Park on Friday 6th June.
We thank Diamonds Restaurant and St. Bronagh’s GAA for the catering after the Funeral.
We express our gratitude to McAnulty Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified attention to all our requirements.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Francie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Saturday 5th July at 6pm in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor

FARRELL Francie (Rostrevor) 3rd June 2025, peacefully at Carlingford Lodge Care Home, Francie, beloved husband of Frances, loving father of Caroline (O’Donovan), Adrian, Niamh (McManus) and Eimear, father-in-law of John, Brian and Noreen, dearly loved grandfather of Conor and Marc, beloved son of the late Patrick and Rose Farrell and dear brother of the late Canice. Late of 1, St. Rita’s Park, Rostrevor. May his soul rest in peace.

Francie’s remains will repose at McAnulty’s Funeral Home, 35, Church Street, Warrenpoint BT34 3HN, today Tuesday from 3pm – 5pm and 7pm – 9pm and on Wednesday from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 9pm. Removal on Thursday at 11.30am arriving at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor for 12noon Requiem Mass (churchservices.tv) followed by interment in Kilbroney Cemetery.
