FASANA (née Fusco) Dora passed away on June 3rd 2021, peacefully, aged 94.

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Dora, my loving and devoted mother, and friend to all whose lives she touched. She was born November 20th, 1926, in Casalattico, Italy. She witnessed incredible changes to her world from WW II, Blitz of Belfast to the troubles.

Dora was a woman of great strength and was always willing to stand up for what she believed in, or to help and support others in need. She also shared her love with food such as tiramisu, lasagna and her constant baking of sponge cakes.

For many years Dora worked at Mercy Primary School. Prior to this Dora worked at the family Fish & Chip shop in Ardoyne for many years.
She was the true matriarch of the family and will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Dora is survived by her son Giuseppe and his wife Niina; grandchildren, Joseph and Nicholas Fasana. Her many nephews and nieces. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

Dora is reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast. Viewing by appointment only (028 90243129)

Funeral on Friday 11th June at 4.00pm at Roselawn Crematorium.
