May FEARON (née Mallon)

Date of Death: Thursday 27th January 2022 Town: Meigh
Date of Death: Thursday 27th January 2022

We, the family of the late May Fearon would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us on the recent loss of May.

To all who attended the funeral home, sent flowers, Mass offerings and sympathy cards and posted on social media. We are so appreciative of the support of our family, friends and neighbours at this difficult time. We also found great comfort in all of the kind words spoken about Mum and also the acts of kindness.
Our special gratitude to Fr. R. Naughton for such a beautiful and personal funeral mass and also for the compassion shown to us in those difficult days. We would also like to recognise Fr. J. Clyne and all other clergy for the pastoral care provided to mum over the years. A special word of thanks to Fr. Pat Mc Enroe (Dromiskin) for attending the funeral home and saying prayers. Thanks also to Janice Gribben for providing such beautiful music and singing at the funeral service.

Our sincere appreciation to the wonderful carers who helped look after May in recent years, she so valued your care and friendship. Thanks to the doctors and staff from Meadowlands surgery, the staff at Meigh Pharmacy and the district nursing team. Thanks also to the very close neighbours and friends who helped mum in many practical ways to maintain the independence she valued so greatly.
We also extend our thanks to Jacqueline and Pat Mc Gennity (Funeral Directors, Newry) for the highly professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

May’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated on Sunday February 27th at 10.00am in St. Joseph’s Church, Meigh
May she rest in peace.
