The wife, daughters and family of the late Raymond Ferris wish to thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.

Thanks to Doctors and Staff at Killyleagh Surgery and to the Hospice Staff and District Nurses for their care and attention. Thanks also to Gabbies Pharmacy, Killyleagh. Finally, thanks to those friends and neighbours who sent cards, telephoned, brought gifts, made a donation with cheques payable to Douglas Donations Account for N.I. Hospice and Kings College Hospital (c/o Douglas Funeral Directors), attended the funeral service or helped in any other way. A special word of thanks to Rev. Mark Brown and Rev. Mark Spratt for conducting the funeral service and for their words of comfort and support.

Also, deepest thanks to Douglas Funeral Directors for their compassion, care, attention, respect and utmost professionalism. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

FERRIS, Raymond died on 23rd October 2021. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at his home ‘Clea Cottage’, Killyleagh.

Beloved husband of Deborah, much loved and loving father to Emma, Laura and Nicola. Dear father-in-law of Andrew and Gavin. Proud papa to Lucy, Zach, Jack and Sam.

Thanksgiving service on Tuesday 26th October at 2.30pm in Granshaw Presbyterian Church (48 Gransha Road, Comber BT23 5QA) followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. House strictly private.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, made payable to, “Douglas Donations Account” for N.I. Hospice and Kings College Hospital Charity (Listen Lodge) c/o 20 Dromore Road, Ballynahinch, BT24 8HP.

Will be loved and remembered always by his sorrowing wife, daughters and family. The eternal God is our refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms: Deuteronomy 33 v 27.
