FINNEGAN Laurence – September 1, 2023. Larry passed away peacefully in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, Ward 6D surrounded by his children.

Survived by children Brian, Collette and Gerard, daughter-in-law Jennifer and grandchildren Caleb, Saoirse, Liam, Caoimhe and Declan.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Ward for the love, care and compassion given to Dad during his stay. Larry spent the last 18 months rebuilding his life after the death of his late wife Bridie Finnegan. Before Bridie’s passing, he spent years caring for Bridie and his family with strong commitment. Larry filled his days with walking Sasha the family dog and enjoyed the camaraderie of his friends at the Ballynafeigh men’s shed and the weekly activities there.

Larry requested a Private Cremation Service to be attended by family members only. This Service will be held on Thursday September 7th. His ashes will then be interred with Bridie in the family grave in Milltown Cemetery at a later date.
