Samuel (Sammy) FITZPATRICK
FITZPATRICK Samuel (Sammy) went to his final resting place peacefully at age 89 on 7 July 2026, at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. Deeply regretted by his entire family circle, Sammy was predeceased by his daughter, Elizabeth and is survived by his two sons, Paul Fitzpatrick (wife Lisa Singer Fitzpatrick) and Martin Fitzpatrick (wife Bernadette Fitzpatrick and children, Reilly, Sean and Ciara) who all reside in the United States. His sisters, Zita McCourt and Mary Curry, live in Belfast.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Woodgrove Care Home in Lisburn, for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Sammy during his time with them.
A viewing will be at Healy Brothers Funeral Home 56 Andersonstown Rd., Belfast BT11 9AN from 9:30am to 5pm on Monday the 13th of July with a Prayer Service at 1.00pm.
Cremation service will be held later.
