In Loving Memory of Peter Fitzsimmons

The Fitzsimmons family wish to express our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming kindness shown to us following the passing of Peter- a loving and devoted husband, cherished father and grandfather, and dear friend whose warmth, humour and generosity touched so many lives.
We are profoundly thankful to everyone who offered support during this difficult time. Your thoughtful messages, Mass cards, and gestures of sympathy have been a great comfort to us.
Special thanks to all who visited during the wake, sharing treasured memories of Peter’s quick wit and kind nature. We are also grateful to the doctors and nurses who cared for Peter during his illness with such professionalism and compassion.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Monsignor Connolly for his spiritual guidance and the beautiful Requiem Mass at St. Peter’s Church. Our thanks also to our readers, and to Gabriel and Ellen for their moving musical tribute.
We gratefully acknowledge McAnulty’s Funeral Directors for their dignified and professional service, and Warrenpoint Golf Club for providing the beautiful setting for the funeral reception.
Peter’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 15th June at 11:30am in St. Peter’s Church, Warrenpoint.
