FITZSIMONS Brendan (Ben), 53 The Links, Strangford and formerly Slievenagriddle, died peacefully Sunday 23 July at the Downe Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved father of Keith, Eoin and Adele, cherished grandfather of Donal, Lorcan, Cara and Conor and much loved brother of Patsy, John and the late Eamon.

Ben is reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Down Funeral Directors, 26 John Street, Downpatrick, BT30 6BY with the family in attendance daily from 2pm. Ben will leave the funeral home on Tuesday 25 July at 11.15 am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in Stella Maris Church, Strangford, BT30 7NL with interment following in the family burial ground at St Joseph’s Cemetery, Ballycruttle.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing children, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Susan, brothers, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and large circle of family and friends.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
