House and Funeral Private due to government restrictions.
FITZSIMONS Columban died on 14th June 2021, peacefully at his home, 83 Saul Road, Downpatrick, after a short illness.
Much loved husband, father and grandfather. Cherished brother, uncle and friend.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his entire family circle.
Columban is reposing at his residence until 12.30 pm on Wednesday 16th June when he will leave for 1pm Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Saul with interment following in the adjoining family burial ground.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Marie Curie Cancer Care and Macmillan Cancer Support whose nurses cared so well for Columban during his illness, c/o the family.
Our Lady of Knock pray for him.
