1st Anniversary

1st Anniversary of Fr Pat Kelly who passed away on 5th April 2022.

Fondly remembered and missed by his entire family circle.

Fr Pat’s 1st Anniversary Mass will take place in St Mary’s Church, Loughmacrory on Wednesday 5th April at 7.30pm.

God called your name so softly that only you could hear,
and no one heard the footsteps of angels drawing near.
The golden gates stood open, God saw you needed rest,
his garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best.

Family Acknowledgement

The Family of the late Fr Pat Kelly C.S.Sp. wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness and support shown to us following our recent sad bereavement.

A special thanks to all those who cared for Fr Pat throughout his illness especially the staff of Marian House and Nazareth House, Dublin, your care, and kindness was much appreciated.

We are extremely grateful to Fr Pat’s Spiritan confrères for their pastoral support throughout his illness, the touching prayer service in Kimmage and travelling to concelebrate his funeral mass.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the wake and funeral and provided so much practical and emotional support. For those who travelled long distances, sent mass and sympathy cards, floral tributes and messages of condolences, words cannot express how much the kindness and thoughtfulness meant to us all. Our sincere gratitude to all our kind relatives, neighbours and friends who assisted during the wake, provided refreshments, brought food, parked cars and assisted in any way.

We would like to acknowledge the kindness and devotion of Fr Sean O’Neill PP for his comforting words, presence and for concelebrating the funeral mass. To the choir of St Mary’s Church for enhancing the liturgy with their beautiful music and the sacristan who prepared the church, we offer our heartfelt thanks. Also, to Fr Thomas Mallon PE for his support of Fr Pat throughout the years and the beautiful mass in Fr Pat’s memory.

To FMC Funeral Services for the dignified manner in which they carried out their duties and to the management and staff of The Charm Inn who provided refreshments after the funeral we offer our sincere thanks.

The Holy Sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions.

Fr Pat’s months mind mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Loughmacrory on Wednesday the 4th May at 7.30pm.
