GAFFEY (nee McNally) Julia R.I.P. Julia passed peacefully on 7th October 2026 at hospital under the wonderful care of the staff of ICU, Royal Victoria Hospital. Adored wife of Mark. A much loved and cherished mother of Liam, Cora, Deaglan and Tiarna and their partners Frances, Gerard and Stephen. A gentle and loving grandmother to her granddaughters Isla, Mayla and Alara. Late of 4 Ardcaoin Walk. Our Lady of Lourdes Pray for her.

Julia will be reposing at O’Neill’s Chapel of Rest, 98 Stewartstown Road, Belfast from Thursday afternoon for those wishing to call and pay their respects. Please contact us on 02890 620099 for viewing times.

On Monday 12th October, at 10.15am Julia will leave our Chapel of Rest to arrive at St Patrick’s Church Lisburn for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial to follow in Blairs Cemetery Lisburn.

Julia will be loved and sorely missed by her heartbroken husband, adoring children, their partners, her three cherished granddaughters and entire family circle.
