It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas Gallacher, peacefully at The Foyle Hospice on 12th May 2026. Late of 72a Rossnagalliagh and formerly of 28 Marlborough Rd. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Jackie. Devoted father of Bobby, John and Donna. Loving granda of Ryan, Brendan, Rebecka, Katie and Fiadh. A much loved great-granda of Finn. Precious son of the late Robert and Ann. Dearest brother of Ronnie, Gorritti and the late John, Billy, Roy and Con. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends.

Nicholas’ remains will be reposing at his late home, 72a Rossnagalliagh from 2pm tomorrow afternoon, Thursday 14th May. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday 16th May at 9:15am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. The wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
