GALLAGHER Dermot, 2nd January 2026, peacefully at Foyle Hospice. Beloved husband of Carol, loving father of Éimhear, Fionn, Éabha and the late baby Órla, devoted grandfather of Cadán, dear son of Mary and the late Paddy, cherished brother of Seamus and Moira. Loved and will be sadly missed by Riley, his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Dermot will be reposing at his home, 5 Moat Street, on Saturday 3rd January and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 8:00pm. Funeral leaving his home on Monday 5th January at 11:00am to St. Aengus’ Church, Burt for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Iskaheen.
