GALLAGHER James Gerard (Gerry) 30th May 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved partner of Eileen. Cherished Daddy of Anne, Gerard and Kieran and proud Granda of Ryan and his wife Jess and Great Granda to Cadhla and Éabha.

Beloved son of James and Nellie Gallagher and loving brother of Patsy, John, Ann and the late Bee and Bernie. Gerry will be lovingly remembered by Eileen’s children and their families and his former wife Sheila.

He will be fondly remembered by his close circle of friends in Derry and Gweedore. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle.

Gerry will repose at his home 30 Virginia Court, Waterside Derry from 2pm on Sunday 31st May. Funeral from there on Tuesday 2nd June at 10.20am to the church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Rd, for Requiem mass at 11.00 am.

Interment immediately afterwards in the City cemetery, Lone Moor Road Derry.
