Tt is with deep regret and sorrow we announce the passing of Michael Gerard (Gerry) Gallagher, July 28 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at his home, 8 St. Aidan’s Terrace (formerly of Herbert Street), beloved husband of Dolores, loving father of Paula, Barbara, Caroline and the late Janet, dear father-in law to Mick, devoted grandfather to his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, dear son of the late Robert and Ellen, cherished brother of the late Kathleen, Jackie and Mona and a loving uncle to all his nephews and nieces. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle.

Gerry will be reposing at his home. House private for family and close friends only from 10:00pm to 12noon. Funeral leaving his home on Wednesday, July 30 at 9:20am to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.
