We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Mary (Mamie) Gallagher (née Herron), peacefully at Altnagelvin hospital on 19th June 2023. Late of 4c Lisfannon Park. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of the late Daniel. Devoted mother of Michelle and Joseph. Loving granny of Brooke, Bronagh and Dani-Louise. A much loved mother-in-law of Rachael and Jimmy. Dearest sister of the late Bridie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her nieces, nephews, wider family circle and friends.

Mamie’s remains will be reposing at her daughter Michelle’s residence, 180 Clondara from approx. 4pm this afternoon, Friday 23rd June. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 26th June at 9:15am for 10am requiem mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
