GALLAGHER Patrick (Paddy), May 10 2026 peacefully at home after a short illness surrounded by loving family. Beloved husband of Rose, loving father of Grainne and Mariclare and father-in-law of JR, much loved granda of Aoife and Theo, dear brother of John, Roisin, Celine, Margaret, Mena, Annemarie, Theresa and Tony and a cherished friend of Jack and Don. Paddy is reunited in peace with his first wife Anne, parents Hugh and Rosena, brother Danny and sisters Patsy and Mary who preceded him.

Paddy will be reposing in his home, 22 St Johns Park, Derry. Removal from there on Tuesday at 5.30 pm to repose overnight in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 13 at 10 o’clock followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carndonagh. Funeral Mass can be viewed live via: churchservices.tv/pennyburn.
