Date of Death: Thursday 3rd October 2024

Acknowledgement – Dr. Joe Gaston.
The family of the late Doctor Joe Gaston would like to convey their gratitude to all those who helped us through our recent bereavement and continue to do so.
For those who called from across the world or sent messages and cards, we are extremely grateful. We would also like to extend thanks to those who joined the wake and funeral with us to celebrate Joe’s life with songs and stories.
Special thanks to the staff of the Causeway Hospital Coronary Care Unit, for their care and empathy during his final days. Also to Portrush Medical centre and to Dr Stephen Bailey. Joe was joking and telling stories right up until his final hours.
Many thanks to the Reverend Dr Chris Easton for conducting the funeral service and to Marie Kinney for her pipe and flute playing during the service. We would also like to convey thanks to all who kindly donated to RNLI in lieu of flowers.
Finally, to DJM Robinson & Son, we give our sincere thanks for their professionalism and kindness during the process of organising Joe’s final voyage.
We extend our sincere appreciation and love to everyone with this notice of thanks.
