Date of Death: Sunday 12th September 2021

Gervin Stella. We the family of the late Stella Gervin would like to express our sincerest thanks to all those who sympathised with and supported us during our recent bereavement. Although the grief we have felt is indescribable the compassion, love and support shown across the community has helped immensely.

We wish to thank sincerely the many family member’s, neighbours, and friends who worked tirelessly throughout the wake. In times of loss, you can become directionless. You provided the guidance and helping hands to ensure we paid a fitting tribute to a beautiful soul. To those who sent mass cards, floral tributes, posted heartfelt messages on social media and to all those who attended Stella’s wake, burial and Requiem Mass, especially considering the difficult times we live in, our thanks holds no bounds. You will all be forever in our hearts.

Sincerest gratitude to Canon Benny Fee for the comforting Funeral and Requiem Mass, to Andrea Begley for the beautiful singing and also to the gravediggers for preparing Stella’s final resting place. The family would also like to thank Dr Palmer and Dr McCauley along with all the Staff in the Haematology Department at Craigavon Area Hospital and additionally all the Staff in the Ward 2 North Craigavon who comforted and cared for Stella in her final days.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Paudge Quinn for your professionalism, support and guidance throughout. We are forever grateful for everything you did for us at such a difficult time. You truly went above and beyond and for that we are in your debt. Also additional thanks to Doiretreasc GAC who welcomed us into the Club after and Kelly-Anne Corr for the refreshments provided.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually the family hopes that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincerest thanks.

Stella touched many lives and although she will always be missed the impact she made on everyone she met stands as a testament to the person she was.

Stella’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Clonoe on Thursday 7th October at 7.30.
