GILBERT, John (J.G.) passed away suddenly on 15th July 2025. Late of Macroom Gardens, Carrickfergus. Beloved husband of Denise. Much loved dad of Jonathan, Laura and Matthew. Father-in-law to Adam. Proud Granda to Cameron, Lucie, Harry, Alfie, Charlie, Ryan and Tommy.

A service of thanksgiving for John’s life will be held in Victoria Evangelical Hall, Victoria Road, Carrickfergus on Sunday 20th July at 2.00p.m.

John will be loved and remembered always by the entire family circle. You gave us years of happiness, then sorrow came with tears. You left us lovely memories, we will treasure through the years.

We did not see you close your eyes nor hear your last faint sigh, we only knew that you were gone, too late to say goodbye.
