The unexpected death of Michelle Gildea has taken place at Stonepark, Glenties, Co. Donegal, on 17th September 2026. Michelle was a devoted and loving mother whose three children were the centre of her world. She will be deeply and sadly missed by her beloved children, Hannah, Stephen and Sophia, whom she adored beyond words.

She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her father Martin, her sister Marina, brother-in-law Paul, her nephews Aidan and Mark, and by the wider Gildea and McGarry families, along with her many friends and all who knew and loved her.

Michelle was predeceased by her wonderful mother, Anne, whom she loved dearly.

Michelle leaves behind a lifetime of love, cherished memories and a family who will carry her with them always. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at her father’s residence at Storm Hill, Ardara, Co. Donegal (F94H9D5 ) on Saturday, 19th September, from 4pm to 9pm, and on Sunday, 20th September, from 12pm to 9pm.

Funeral Mass will take place at The Church of the Holy Family, Ardara, at 12 noon on Monday, 21st September, followed by cremation at Lilly Hill Crematorium, Letterkenny, at 4pm.
