GRANT (neé O’Hare) Mairead (Kilcoo), died 25th February 2025 suddenly at her home 21 Market Rd, Kilcoo.

Dearly beloved wife of Joey and cherished mother of Jolene, Niall, Sinèad, Damien and Brian. Much loved mother in law to Rachel, Riona and Lauren. Also adored Granny of Caitlin, Elise, Layla, Shea, Aaron, Caolán, Aria, Lochie, Lottie, Finn and late Ollie RIP. Beloved sister of Colum, Malachy, Eamon, Anne-Marie, Sean and the late Breda and Eugene RIP. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing family and friends.

Mairead’s remains will be reposing at her late residence, 21 Market Road, Kilcoo BT34 5JY leaving on Sunday March 2, 2025 at 12.45pm for Requiem Mass at 1.30pm in St Malachy’s Church, Kilcoo, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers if desired to Chest, Heart & Stroke NI, c/o Stephen Morgan Funeral Director, 14 Main Street, Newcastle, Co Down BT33 0AD. Those paying their respects at the family home are encouraged to access the Market Road via the Dublin Road and exit via the Moneyscalp Road to assist with traffic management.
