GREENE Jim – May 14, 2022. Suddenly at home in Yonkers, New York, formerly Ballybannon, Castlewellan.

Beloved son of the late James and Catherine Greene (Ballybannon, Castlewellan), brother of May King (Castlewellan), John (Newcastle) and Gerry (Ballybannon). Uncle of Conleth, Cathy, Carolynne, Christine, John and Jim Greene (Newcastle), Anthony and the late Catherine King of Castlewellan. Great uncle of Mary, Danielle and Anthony.

No farewell was spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew, and only God knows why. We will always love you.

Jim’s remains are being repatriated from New York today Friday May 20, 2022 to arrive at Sawey’s Chapel of Rest, Bryansford Avenue, Newcastle from 10.00am – 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 21st at 1.00pm in St Malachy’s Church, Castlewellan. Burial will follow afterwards at Aughlisnafin Cemetery.
