GREENE (née Allen) Marcella (Ballymartin, Kilkeel) Passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Marcella, wife of the late Thomas and devoted mother of Michael (Briege), Mary, Frances (Gerard), Johanna (John), Hugh (Lavinia), Finnuala (Boogie), James, Brendan (Jo), Colette (Connor) and Patrick. Much loved grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving parents John and Mary Allen and by her brothers and sisters, she is survived by her sisters-in-law Chris, Ann and Bredene, many nephews and nieces.

Marcella’s wake will be in her daughter Finnuala’s home, 3 Springdale Crescent, Scrogg Road, Kilkeel BT34 4XY. On Friday evening May 3rd her remains will be removed to St Joseph’s Church, Ballymartin at 6.15pm. House Private from 4.00pm. Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church at 11.00am on tomorrow Saturday May 4th, with interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
