The death has occurred of the late Edward (Eddie) Harkin, September 30 2024, peacefully at his home, 12 Gartan Square, after a long illness bravely borne, formerly of Blucher Street, and ex. Du Pont and Richmond Centre.

Beloved husband of Lily, loving father of Breige, Adrian, Lisa, Edel and the late Damian, a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, dear brother of the late Mickey, Bridie and Johnny. A cherished uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle.

Eddie will be reposing at his home on Monday, September 30 from 5:00pm to 11:00pm and on Tuesday from 11:00am to 11:00pm. Funeral leaving his home on Wednesday 2nd October at 9:20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
