W. Allen HARKNESS

Acknowledgement
Ruth, Oliver, Gail, Julia and Samuel wish to express our thanks to all who supported us on the recent deaths of our treasured parents, Olive and Allen Harkness. As do the extended family. We would like to thank all those who cared for them at the end of their lives the doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, Marie Curie staff, and the carers who called daily. A special thank you to Ruth McClenaghan for the immeasurable help and support she provided. Thank you to Canon Porteus for his pastoral care and for conducting the beautiful funeral services. Thank you to Gillian, Bryan and Carole Steenson and their team for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. We would also like to thank everyone who supported the family by calling at the home, attending the funeral, sending messages of support and cards and by making donations. And, most of all thank you to them, Olive and Allen, for being the most wonderful parents and people imaginable and showing us how to love, live and laugh. Thank you all most sincerely.
