The family of the late Stanley George Hartley, Moneymore, would like to extend their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Heartfelt thanks goes to those who called at the family home, attended the funeral, sent cards and messages, telephoned and to all who kindly sent donations in memory of Stanley. We are very grateful to the Doctors and nursing staff of Moneymore Surgery and Pharmacy for all their help and support to Stanley over recent months. Also, to the staff of Ward C4 at Antrim Area Hospital for their kindness and excellent care of Stanley in the days leading up to his death. A special word of thanks to Pastor Alan Dundas for visiting both at home and in the hospital and for conducting the funeral service and to the Reverend Jonathan Sloan for his assistance in the service at the family home. Many thanks to Mrs Jean Rees for the beautiful music and to Edith Blair and her staff for providing a lovely tea after the service. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Helen and the staff of D. Watters, Funeral Services for the professional, respectful and dignified service they provided at this sad time. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. “In thy presence is fulness of joy. At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

HARTLEY Stanley George – December 30th 2023 (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, (aged 93 years) Late of ‘Haven’, 53 Cookstown Road, Moneymore.

Dearly loved Husband of Dorothy,, much loved Father of Stephen and Sharon, loving Father-in-Law of Allan, dearest Brother of Fergus (New Zealand), Mervyn and the late Sheila, Margaret and Sammy, a dear Brother-in-Law of Margaret, Connie, Valerie, Colin and the late Heather and a beloved Uncle.

House strictly private. Funeral service in his home on Monday, 1st January 2024, commencing at 1.00pm, followed by burial in First Moneymore Presbyterian Churchyard at 2.00pm (approx.). All welcome to attend the service in the home and the burial.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Tobermore Baptist Church and Moneymore Presbyterian Church, can be made online or payable to D. Watters (Donations A/c), 55 Main Street, Tobermore Magherafelt BT45 5PP.
