HASSARD Desmond John – 11th October 2026. Peacefully at The Beeches Care Home, Aghalee, aged 67 years. Dearly beloved son of the late Rev. Austin and Joan Hassard. Loving brother of Kathleen and Brian, brother-in-law to Ian. Uncle No.1 to Mark (Amy) and David. Devoted great-uncle to Maisie.

A service of thanksgiving will be held in Magheragall Methodist Church, Glenavy Road, Lisburn on Wednesday 14th October at 1.30pm; following a private family committal. Family and friends welcome to pay their respects at 36 Fulmar Crescent, Lisburn, BT28 3HT on Monday to 10.00pm and Tuesday to 5.00pm. Desmond’s remains will be received in Magheragall Methodist Church on Tuesday evening from 7.00pm, family and friends welcome.
