First anniversary: 19/July/2025
Loving wife to Seán, devoted mother of John Charles and Michael Joseph, good friend to their partners Maria and Caoimhe, loving grandmother to Éadha, much-loved sister and a very kind and caring soul with many, many friends and colleagues.
Seán, John and Michael wish to express their thanks and gratitude to those staff of
Templemore Sports Complex, as well as the Yoga class friends, who lovingly took care of Ellen in her time of need, the ambulance staff, all the staff in Altnagelvin Hospital who looked after Ellen and made her last hours comfortable, all at W. J. O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, the priests of St. Eugene’s Cathedral and Karen Cassidy for celebrating the ‘memories of Ellen’ event at Destined, Foyle Road.
Last, but not least, everyone who attended Ellen’s funeral and ‘memories of Ellen’ event and those who sent mass and sympathy cards, some of which were accompanied by much appreciated personal hand-written messages.

Beloved wife of Sean, Juniper Park, Foyle Springs, loving mother of John Charles and Michael Joseph, mother-in-law of Maria and Caoimhe, devoted grandmother of Éadha, cherished daughter of the late Peggy and Charlie Logue (Ballygudden Road, Eglinton) and a much loved sister and friend.
House private please.
Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU, on Sunday from 4 – 6 pm. Ellen’s funeral service will take place in St Eugene’s Cathedral on Monday at 9 am. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to a charity of your choice.
