HAUGHEY James (Jimmy) 20th September 2026. James (Jimmy) RIP, peacefully at Causeway Hospital, aged 91 years, late of Portstewart, and formerly of Kilcar, Co. Donegal. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret, loving father of sons John and James, daughters Anne, Mary, Bernadette and Frances; much loved grandfather of Jessa, Ben, James, Dylan, Frances, Ché, Kiana and Albert; loved father-in-law of Neil, Chris, Angus and Steve and Ruksana; also his extended family brother, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews and nieces; predeceased by his late brother John and sister Mary. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.

Jimmy is reposing in Wades Funeral Home, 3 Upper Abbey Street, Coleraine, BT52 1BF. House Private. Family and friends are welcome to call at Wades Funeral Home on Tuesday between 2 – 4 p.m. to pay their respects. Jimmy’s remains will leave Wades Funeral Home on Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. for overnight reception in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart, arriving at 5.30 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church on Wednesday 23rd at 12 noon, followed by interment in Agherton Cemetery (Flowerfield), Portstewart. Requiem Mass will be lived streamed.
