HAYDEN (née Lagan) Margaret
HAYDEN Margaret – RIP 3rd November 2023
The family of the late Margaret Hayden, Sons (Martin, Cathal, Gerry, Stephen), Daughters (Patricia, Nuala, Siobhan, Joanne) and her sister-in-law Teresa; would like to express our sincere thanks to all who helped us and sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.
Thank you to all those who called, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, offered prayers, sent messages, texts and emails. These were a great source of comfort to us.
Thank you to those who attended the Requiem Mass and to all our neighbours and friends who have provided great help and support during Margaret’s final weeks. All your kind thoughts, actions and words of comfort are gratefully received.
Special thanks to all who cared for Margaret; Dr Johnston and his colleagues at Mid Ulster Health Centre, Cookstown, Craigavon Hospital, Damian and all those in McAleer’s Chemist, Pomeroy, who have been a great support for many years. We particularly thank those who attended Margaret at her home, the team of carers who have looked after Margaret for during her illness, and especially Marie Grant and Sabrina Heagney, for their care, love and support for both Margaret and John (RIP) for many years. We are eternally grateful for everything you both have done. A special word of thanks to Marie Curie who made Margaret so comfortable and supported the family throughout her final weeks.
Thanks to Father Boyle, Cookstown and Monseigneur Barney McAleer for the Requiem Mass, and to Father Moore, Pomeroy, and Deacon Eamonn Quinn, Galbally who attended Margaret with visits and communion and offered many prayers. Thank you to the Sacristan and those who attended to the grave.
To McAleer Bros Undertakers for arranging the funeral with such care and attention. Your caring manner and professionalism was greatly appreciated.
To the Musicians and Singers who played and sang at the funeral and to the wider traditional music family who have paid tribute. To Margaret’s oldest friends made during her time in Pomeroy Playgroup and NIPPA (Early Years), your stories and many others shared with family and friends were a comfort to the family.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our appreciation. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your special intentions.
Margaret’s Month’s Mind mass will be celebrated in The Sacred Heart Church, Tullyodonnell, Rock on Sunday 3rd December at 12.30pm.
Eternal rest grant unto her soul oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
