HEANEY Liam (1947-2024, aged 76), of Philadelphia, PA, born and raised in Magherafelt, County Derry, Northern Ireland, died at Abington Hospital on January 11, 2024 surrounded by his family.

Liam is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Kathleen (née Scanlon), devoted son Sean, and sister Betty Heaney Black. He was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Mary (née McCann), sister Geraldine Boyle and her husband Eugene, nephew Eugene Boyle, George Black, Marrion Scanlon, Ann Scanlon, and John James Scanlon. He is also survived by Colleen Boyle, Lisa (Jack) Morrisey, Michelle Boyle Wolf, David Boyle, Meghan Boyle Griffiths, Lynn Black, Mark Black, Patrick Scanlon, Anthony Scanlon, Monica Scanlon (John Veneziale), Brian Scanlon (Janet), Linda Clark (Michael), Kevin Scanlon (Jennifer), many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
