We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Bernadette Heaney née Coll peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on the 31st October 2025. May she rest in peace.

Late of 32 Banagher Road, Dungiven, Co Derry.

Beloved wife of Mickey. Daughter of the late Bridie and Joe RIP and loving sister of Peter (Margaret) and the late Mary Rose and Seamus RIP. Dear sister in law of Pat (Breda), Anne (Plunket), Susan (Seamus),Sharon (Robert), Margaret (Declan) and Geraldine (Alister).

Deeply regretted by her loving nieces, nephews and the entire Heaney and Coll family circles.

You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven, BT47 4NQ) on Sunday 2nd November 2025 from 4pm to 6pm. Leaving the funeral home at 6pm to repose at her late home – wake will commence at 11am Monday (3rd). Family time 10pm to 11am. Funeral on Tuesday 4th November 2025, leaving her late home at 11.15am for 12noon Requiem Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, Banagher. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Requiem Mass can be viewed via the church webcam
