We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Mary Heavern née Hegarty peacefully at Rectory Fields, surrounded by her loving family on the 12th of February 2024. May she rest in peace. Late of 1B New Street,Dungiven, Co Derry, BT47 4LJ.

Beloved wife of Caimin and loving mother of Damian (Alison), Brona (Ali), Ciara (Barry), Kevin, and Lisa (Peter). Devoted grandmother of Annie, Finn, Kitty, Kate, Eve, Tom, Darragh, Kian, Ruan, Jack and Harry. Daughter of the late Martin and Elizabeth Hegarty R.I.P and dear sister of Brendan, Andy, Joe, Thomas, Sean, Anne and infant Martin R.I.P. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle.

Reposing at her late home from 5pm this evening Monday). Family time 10pm to 10am. Funeral on Wednesday 14th of February, leaving her late home at 12.45pm for 1.30pm Requiem Mass in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Gortnaghey, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven graveyard.
