HEGARTY Eugene, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on the 1st of May 2026. May he rest in peace.

Late of 55 Larkhill, Derry. Beloved husband of the late Anne RIP and loving father of Catherine, Brian (Tara) Michael (Aoife) and Fiona (James). Devoted grandfather of Anya, Rory, James, Seamus, Anna, Aoibh and Kate. Son of the late Lawrence and Margaret RIP and dear brother of Joseph, Michael, Larry, Paddy, Brian, Seamus and Mary.

Reposing from his late home from 5pm Saturday 2nd of May. Family time 10pm to 12 noon. Funeral from there on Monday 4th of May 2026 leaving at 11.30am for 12noon Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown, interment afterwards in St Patrick’s Church graveyard, Claudy (arriving approximately at 1.30pm) Funeral mass can be viewed on the church webcam.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving family and the entire family circle.
