The death has occurred of Briedge Henry (nee Treanor), Aughadrinagh, Ballinrobe Road, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and formerly of Fintona, Co. Tyrone on 14th May 2026. Pre – deceased by her parents Thomas and Bridget, her son Shane, her sister Theresa and her brothers Francis, Thomas, Brendan, Barney, and James.

Very deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her husband of 56 years Tom, her loving son John, her daughter-in-law Caroline, her sisters Rita, Ann and Rosemary, her brother Stephen, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. “May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace”.

Briedge will repose at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar F23 FD90 on Monday 18th May from 5.00pm with prayers at 7.00pm, followed by removal to Church of The Holy Rosary, Castlebar at 7.30pm arriving at 8.00pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 19th May at 11am, afterwards Briege will be laid to rest in Castlebar New Cemetery. The Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchtv.ie/castlebar or it can be listened to in Castlebar on the Castlebar Parish Radio 105.3fm. House strictly private please.
