The family of the late Gladys wish to express their sincere gratitude to those who sympathised and who supported them during their recent bereavement.

To all that phoned, sent messages, cards and donations in lieu of flowers, attended the funeral or helped in any other way, we are most grateful. Special thanks to Slemish Nursing Home for their care they provided Gladys, Rev Mark Neilly for his prayerful support and conducting the funeral service. Thanks to the staff of James Henry Funeral Services for the professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

HOOD Gladys – 29th December 2023 (peacefully at Slemish Nursing Home (in her 104th year) formerly of Ballymontena Road Gracehill.

Much loved wife of the late Jim, loving mother of Jennifer, Ruth, John, James and Millar a dear mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother.

Funeral service in First Ahoghill Presbyterian Church on Tuesday 2nd January at 12noon interment afterwards First Ahoghill Presbyterian Church burying ground.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired may be sent to James Henry Funeral Services, 100 Broughshane Street, Ballymena BT43 6EE for Cancer Research. Family homes private.

Lovingly remembered by her family and family circle at home and abroad.
