HOUSTON Ashley – passed away 28th April 2022 suddenly at his home, 13 Mulderg Drive, Newtownabbey.

Please join us at Ashley’s home on Monday 9th May 2022 at 2-30pm where we will hold a service to celebrate his life with committal afterwards in Roselawn Crematorium.

Our story with Ash starts when he was just 14 years old. He was a caring, kind hearted teenager who loved every gadget going. Despite having a number of alarm clocks going off every morning, he was a tough one to wake up. Ashley had always been a big brother to Jay and Michaela, and that didn’t change when he became apart of our lives. He was always protective and loving, and even got cross at Mickey Mouse in Disney land Paris, when his cape hit Blake, then only 6 years old, in the face. Ashley developed a love for camping and adventure when he joined 112th scout group, and he continued this love into his adulthood. Often unplugging and camping on the Mourne mountains. You didn’t need to ask Ash twice for help, he always put others first. And often spent his Friday nights, serving coffee to the homeless and giving out blankets. Every first aid kit I have, Ashley put together for me. He was a real life super hero.
