We, the mother, family and partner of the late Philip Howell, formerly of Dereen Drive and late of The Hillocks, would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the people who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to thank all those who attended the wake and funeral, who sent mass cards and offered condolences.
Thank you to Fr Noel McDermott for the funeral mass and to Thomas Gillespie and Brian Lindsay for the beautiful music and singing.
Thank you to McLaughlin’s Funeral Directors.
We would also like to thank Amanda McMullan at McMullan Foods for the food and all those who had helped throughout the wake.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere thanks for your support.

Philip’s months mind mass will be held on Thursday 5th December at 7.00pm in St Oliver Plunkett, Strathfoyle.

HOWELL Philip, tragically while on holidays in Thailand on 6th of November 2024. May he rest in peace. Late of 63 The Hillocks, Altnagelvin, Derry, BT47 3FS and formerly of 38 Dereen Drive, Strathfoyle, Derry, BT47 6UZ.

Loved partner of Julie. Beloved son of Doris and cherished brother of Sharon, Jane, Sarah and Megan. Loving uncle of Sean, Kevin, Dylan, Ryan, Sara, Callum, Kyle and Mason.

Reposing at the family home – 38 Dereen Drive. Wake will commence Saturday (16th) 12noon to 10pm and Sunday (17th) 12noon to 10pm. Funeral on Monday 18th of November leaving at 11.20am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in Saint Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Stathfoyle, interment immediately afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers if wished to The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust (KBRT) c/o McLaughlin Funeral Directors.
