Family Acknowledgement and Months Mind Mass

The Family of the late Annie Hughes would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who offered their condolences prayers and support during our recent bereavement.
We would especially like to thank the entire family circle, friends, neighbours and everyone that attended the wake, funeral, watched the funeral online, sent mass and sympathy cards, helped in any way at the wake-brought food, helped with refreshments or parked cars.
A very sincere thank you for the excellent care given to Annie over the years and especially in her final weeks by The Doctors, Nurses and staff of Carrickmore Health Centre, District Nurses Beragh, Marie Curie Nurses, Staff at Ward 6 South West Acute Hospital, Damian at McAleer Medical Hall Pomeroy, Fiona at Hartes Pharmacy Carrickmore and The Carers.
We would like to thank Fr Peter McAnenely PP for visiting Annie offering his spiritual guidance and for ensuring her requiem mass which was very personal and comforting. It was a celebration of a very special and loving daughter, sister, auntie and great aunt. To Canon Sean O’Neill and Fr David Moore for their prayers and support. To Andrea Begley for the beautiful singing and music at her funeral mass, to Annies great nieces and great nephews who sang the reflection- and to all those who participated in her Funeral mass.
A special word of thanks to John Donaghy of John Donaghy Funeral Services for the professional, compassionate and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. To the gravedigger and those who beautifully prepared Annies final resting place.
Thank you to Fergal Farley for providing the refreshments following the funeral at Annies late home.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deepest appreciation and gratitude.

The Holy Sacrifice of the the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Annies Months mind mass will take place on Friday 13th June 2025 at 7.30pm at St Colmcille’s Church Carrickmore. (can be viewed on webcam)
