We regret to inform you of the passing away of the late Ignatius (Nishie) Hughes RIP,

23 Millvale Park and formerly High St, Bessbrook, passed away peacefully, 22nd April 2026 at home. Beloved husband of the late Patsy RIP, devoted Daddy to Liam (Jo-Ann), Gary (Teresa), Karen (Eamon), Rodney (Dolease) and Audrey (Paul), loving Granda to Rachael, Ryan, Liam, Jordan, Mackenzie, Courteney, Rebecca, Ross, Jamie, Eva, Dean, Bethany and Ellie, Great Granda to Nicole, dearest brother to Thomas, Rose, Bernadette, Maura and the late Richard, Kathleen, Dermot, John Francis and Aideen RIP, a cherished uncle, brother in law and respected friend.

Nishie’s remains will repose at his late residence 23 Millvale Park, Bessbrook from 2pm to 9pm on both Thursday and Friday.

Funeral leaving at 11.30am Saturday for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St Malachy’s Church Carrickcruppen. Interment in adjoining cemetery.

Respectfully, house private on Saturday morning for the family circle.
