HUGHES (née Coghlan) Goretti R.I.P. Late of Church Street, Newry. Passed away on December 2, 2025 at her home. Beloved wife of the late Stephen, loving mother of Thelma (Canada) and the late Robert and a devoted grandmother.

Goretti’s remains will repose in McGennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ this evening (Friday December 5th) from 7.00pm until 9.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated tomorrow (Saturday December 6th) at 9.30am in St Catherine’s Church, Dominic Street, Newry. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery. Very deeply regretted by her loving daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Joe, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and the extended family circle. Our Lady of Knock pray for her. May she rest in peace.
