IRWIN, (née Matthews), Bernadette (Dette)Formerly of 37 John Martin Gardens, Newry. 9th November 2023, peacefully at Our Mother of Mercy Care Home, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late David, loving mother of Brian and the late Colin, dear mother-in-law of Berniece and devoted nanny of Sé, Cathal and Méabh.
Dette’s remains will be reposing at her son Brian’s home, 4 Woodlands, Hospital Road, Newry on Saturday (11th November) and Sunday (12th November) from 2pm until 9pm each day. Removal on Monday (13th November) at 12 noon, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm in St Catherine’s Church, Dominic Street, Newry. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery. House private on Monday morning please. Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Very deeply regretted by her loving son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and the wider family circle.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Marie Curie c/o the donations box in the home or any family member. May she rest in peace.
