Date of Death: Wednesday 11th December 2024 Town: Carrickmore
Date of Death: Wednesday 11th December 2024

The family of Jim Gallagher wish to extend our deepest thanks to all those people who sympathised with us on our recent and very sad bereavement. We would like to offer our appreciation to all those who sent flowers, Mass cards, letters, messages or phone calls. Thanks to everyone who helped in any way at the wake or donated food, sandwich trays and pizzas. It was lovely to see friends, neighbours, colleagues, and our local community line the funeral route and form a Guard of Honour at the Chapel. We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Three Rivers Care Home for the loving care that Dad received and for the compassion and support they gave us all in his final hours. We would like to thank Fr Kevin McElhatton and Fr Peter McAnenley for anointing Dad and for the beautiful funeral service. Thanks also to all those who joined and prayed with us on the webcam. Thanks to the sacristan Colette, Caoimhe and Catriona for their beautiful singing, those who prepared Dads final resting place and The Old Charm Inn for providing refreshments after the funeral. Thanks also to Funeral Directors, Ryan McCallan and Peadar Fox who guided us through the wake and funeral with gentle respect.

Jim’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place in St Colmcille’s Church Carrickmore on Friday 17th January at 7.30pm.
