Date of Death: Tuesday 15th March 2022

“No winter without a spring
And beyond the dark horizon
Our hearts will once more sing ….
For those who leave us for a while
Have only gone away
Out of a restless, care worn world
Into a brighter day”

The family of the late John Doran, Altmore, Pomeroy, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our kind family, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent bereavement. We are grateful to all those who attended wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and messages expressing their condolences, via telephone, social media, and those who donated to Marie Curie. We wish also to thank family who travelled long distances to be with us.

Our sincere gratitude to Fr.Moore, Fr McCann and Fr McVeigh for their pastoral care and to Fr Moore for celebrating John’s requiem mass, a beautiful tribute to John.

Thank-you to Marina and Christina for their beautiful singing and music. Thanks also to John’s carers, district nurses and Marie Curie nurses for all their help and dedication. We are truly indebted to you.
Thank-you to gravediggers and sacristan.
We would like to thank Kate McAleer funeral directors for efficient and dignified manner in carrying out funeral arrangements.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the mass will be offered for all your intentions.
