Their Light Shines On

Our Loved ones leave behind a light that will never din or fade
It’s kept bright by the loves we feel and the memories we’ve made
It can warm us like a candle’s glow and help bring comfort too
And no matter where you go you’ll find it’s always close to you.

The family of the late Jackie McGrail will observe the first anniversary of his passing with Mass celebrated in Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown July 25th at 10am.

We the sons, daughter, grandchildren, sisters, brothers and entire family circle of the late Jackie McGrail wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement. Thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral. Many thanks to those who telephoned, sent texts and messages on social media and who gave mass and sympathy cards.  A heartfelt thanks to Ann Coney, Sally McSloy and all our neighbours and friends who helped us in many ways throughout the wake and funeral and to all who took the time to make and bring sandwiches, your support and kindness meant so much to us.

Thank you to the Greenvale hotel, Shambles Restaurant and Tom Morrow Cookstown.  A special word of thanks to Fr. Slater and Fr. Boyle for their spiritual support and for the comforting Requiem Mass.  Thank you to Justin McGurk for the beautiful music and to the Church Sacristan Paul Martain.  Thank you to Kate McAleer Funeral Directors for her love and the professional compassionate and dignified manner in which she conducted and guided us through all aspects of the funeral arrangements.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation.

The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Jackie’s months mind mass will take place on Tuesday 22nd August at 10am in Holy Trinity Church Cookstown.
