John McElduff
We, the family of the late John McElduff, wish to express our sincerest gratitude to those who gave
support, comfort and many expressions of sympathy during our recent sad bereavement. We offer
our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, either in person on via webcam
and provided so much practical and emotional support. For those who travelled long distances, sent
Mass and sympathy cards, floral tributes and formed the guards of honour, words cannot express how
much the kindness and thoughtfulness meant to us all.
Our sincere gratitude to all our kind relatives, neighbours and friends who assisted during the wake,
provided refreshments, brought food, parked cars and assisted in any way.
We would like to acknowledge the kindness and devotion of Fr Currie, FrO Nell & Fr Mallon for their
comforting words, presence and celebrating his Requiem Mass. Most grateful thanks to the musicians
Eamon & Jackie for enhancing the liturgy with their beautiful music and the sacristan who prepared
the church, Many thanks to Loughmacrory Football Club for the use of their facilities and the Old
Charm Inn for the refreshments after the funeral.
Deepest appreciation to the doctors, nurses and extended healthcare team who helped care for John
with such dignity and compassion throughout his illness.
Sincerest thanks to Fox & McCallan Undertakers for the sensitive & professional manner in which they
carried out the wake & funeral arrangements. Sincerest thanks to the gravediggers who prepared
John’s final resting place.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of
our appreciation at this sad and difficult time.
