MEENAGH, John – 1st September 2026. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of 156 Creggan Road, Carrickmore. Dearly beloved son of the late Peter and Josephine, dear brother of Tommy, the late Hugh, Dan and Vincent (Briege) and much loved uncle of Mairead (Connal), Daniel & Noelle.

John’s remains will be brought home at 6.30pm this evening (Wednesday) to his late residence at 156 Creggan Road, Carrickmore, with wake commencing at 7.30pm until 10.00pm.

The wake will continue tomorrow, Thursday, from 10.00am until 10.00pm.

Parking each evening at Creggan Community Centre with shuttle bus to wake.

Funeral leaving at 9.45am on Friday 4th September 2026, for requiem mass at St Colmcille’s Church, Carrickmore at 10.15am. Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

John will be sadly missed by his brother, sister-in-law, nieces, nephew, grand nieces, friends and entire family circle

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on his soul. Rest in Peace, Amen.
