O’Neill John

John O’Neill 1st September 2021. John’s sons Caolan & Tiernan, Mother Madeline, Father Frankie, Brother Kevin and Sister Linda would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.  As a family this has been a loss like no other,   John was taken from us far too soon.

We would like to thank the doctors and nurses in Craigavon Area Hospital  who worked tirelessly to get John better, the compassion they showed during visits and the love and care they provided when we could not be there will never be forgotten.

To John’s employer Manfreight and every single one of his colleagues, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you guys are the epitome of a true team and we are so thankful to have met you all and now know why John loved his job.

To Kate McAleer, thank you for everything, you brought John home and carried out your duties with such dignity and care.

To each of his friends who turned up in a car, a lorry or on foot, thank you all.  You made us smile on such a difficult day and we know John would have loved the effort everyone went too.

A huge thanks also to Fr Moore and Dean Donaghy for your spiritual guidance during this time and all your prayers.

Thank you to the Fairhill Diner for the beautiful food afterwards and also the Hub in Pomeroy for the use of the facilities.

We sincerely hope this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually.

And finally to John, we love you and will miss you more than you will ever know.

A month’s mind mass will be held on Thursday 30th September 2021 at 7.30pm in the Church of the Assumption, Pomeroy.

Special Request

Take a moment of your time to share your condolences with the O'Neill family of Pomeroy and Dungannon. Please share your memories of John in his online book of condolences on Safely Home, this will be a treasured keepsake for the family to have all your messages in one place.
